Tenor: JANUSZ KORCZAK. Medical doctor, orphanage director,
writer, radio host, child psychologist, former Army officer and hero
of the Warsaw Ghetto (1878-1942). Doubles as KORCZAK’S
FATHER.
Mezzo-soprano: STEFA WILCZYNSKA. Co-director of Korczak’s
orphanage, his life-long colleague (1886-1942).
Soprano: ESTERKA WINOGRON. Young teacher in the orphanage.

Soprano: MISS G and FEMALE PASSERBY.
Baritone 1: BULA SZULC, MALE PASSERBY.
Baritone 2: MR. M, and RICKSHAW DRIVER.
Baritone 3: NEIGHBOR and SS SOLDIER 1.

CHRISTMAS”/HEROD and S.S. SOLDIER 2.
